Smaller size of extra protection coated mylar bags for the smaller jobs you need!

Our bags are manufactured from a combination of mylar (aluminium and polyester) and a coating of high grade plastic nylon. All our mylar material comes in a standard thickness of  7mil. You can request 5 mil if you want and please email that request.  7 mil gives better protection and that’s why it’s our standard thickness

Polyamide (often known as Plastic nylon) is frequently used in high-quality, flexible packaging for its excellent oxygen barrier properties and puncture resistance. When used in a multi-layer laminated Mylar bag, the inner layer (polyethylene) prevents direct contact between the inner contents and the outer layers.

Plastic nylon (aka polyamide) is also clinically proven to show a good resistance to scanners and x ray.

Plastic nylon resistance: Plastic nylon (aka polyamide) is often reported as having one of the highest radiation resistance levels among all polymers. Our bags are excellent for protecting sensitive photographic films when travelling and passing through airport scanners.
