What is mylar and what can it do?
Mylar aluminum plastic coated material—scientifically known as metalized BoPET (biaxially-oriented polyethylene terephthalate) or aluminized PET—is a high-performance composite film created by depositing a micro-thin layer of aluminum onto a durable polyester sheet. It combines the flexibility and tensile strength of plastic with the reflective, barrier, and conductive properties of metal, often appearing as a silver, shiny, or mirror-like material.
